Coffee of the Month

We strive to find new and interesting coffees from around the world and bring them to you at a fair and reasonable price.  Each month, we select a coffee that stands out and is unique in its flavors, farming & processing methods, and the quality you expect from Spiral Horn Coffee.  We roast each coffee to find that “perfect spot” where the combination of conductive and convective heat in the roaster makes this particular coffee exhibit all that is has to offer.  We hope you enjoy the selection for this month!

June – We Present Burundi!

Enjoy all that Burundi has to offer in this magnificent coffee.  We detect a maple syrup sweetness with clove and peach notes.  Just a hint of floral rooibos and moderate lemon acidity.  Most farmers in this region of Burundi own less than half a hectare of land.  In addition to growing coffee, they also grow crops like bananas, beans, yams, taro, and cassava, both for sale and for household use.   Spiral Horn Coffee Co. donates all profits on the sale of our Burundi coffee to The Cries of a Child foundation.
